Baldur’s Gate 3 Bez Pobrania Przed Wczesnym Dostępem

The Most Anticipated Game of the Year – Baldur’s Gate 3

Pre-loading Absence on Steam

Unfortunately for eager players, the highly anticipated game Baldur’s Gate 3 will not be available for pre-loading on Steam. Larian Studios, the developer of the game, explained on Twitter that this absence is due to a limitation on Steam’s side that disallows pre-loading for games with an early access release. This means that players will have to wait until the release date on August 3 to start playing.

No Easy Download for Early Access Players

Even early access players won’t have it easy when it comes to downloading the full game. They have been instructed by Larian Studios to delete all saves and mods, and uninstall the game before the full version releases. This means that players will have to say goodbye to their beloved characters and progress from the initial early access release in 2020. However, Larian promises that starting from scratch with the full game will be worth it.

The Size of Baldur’s Gate 3

Prepare your hard drives, because Baldur’s Gate 3 is not a small game. According to PC Gamer, the final game package that needs to be downloaded is around a whopping 122GB. This is a huge size for a game and players will need to make sure they have enough space on their PCs before downloading.

Release Date for PS5 and Potential Xbox Release

Baldur’s Gate 3 will be releasing slightly later on PS5, with a release date set for September 6. Unfortunately, a potential Xbox release is still pending. Larian Studios has cited issues with implementing split-screen co-op on the less powerful Xbox Series S as the reason for the delay.
